Kinah making needs to be one of your primary activities in Aion. Kinah plays a major role in the game. You need kinah to buy essential items such as skill books, equipment and stimga stones. The higher level you become, the more expensive are your expenses. For example at level 30, the second set of wings cost 1 million kinah.
So acquiring kinah needs to be part of your daily Aion routine, if you want to advance your character. You need to setup your account so that you can take full advantage of the various kinah making strategies, and optimize your time. The following tips will help you achieve this.
Create a Trader Character.
Only the major towns and cities have a trade broker, so when you have a lot of items to sell on the broker, you waste time running back and forth from your questing location. So create a character whose sole purpose is to stand by the trade broker and sell items for your main leveling character. Since all towns have a mail box, you simply post your items to your trade character.
Note that your trade character needs to be level 10. Although it does take time to level another character, you will see some benefits such as saving time traveling to a trade broker, and freeing up slot spaces. Also, if your main character happens to be leveling near a town with a trade broker, you now have two characters to sell items with. This is an advantage because the Aion trade broker only allows you to place 10 orders at a time.
Get Extra Slot Spaces
As soon as you can afford it, increase the number of slots on your cube. You will be able to carry more stuff, which means you will have more items to sell.
Since you will be crafting, you will be storing a lot of items in your warehouse for when you have time to craft. So increase the slot space in your warehouse, to store materials you have picked up, and crafting parts you have made or been rewarded with from doing work order tasks. Your second character also has a warehouse. So store extra materials there if needed. You can transfer items with the account warehouse, to save of email fees.
Remember that you will also be storing designs in your warehouse, because you will be rewarded with designs from work order quests, from drops, as will as scanning for cheap designs at the trade broker. So warehouse space is important.
Personal store
Set up your personal store at specific times.
To create a good rapport with customers, you should set up your store at the same time, the same place, and try and keep the same prices. Your second character will be ideal for this. This works really well for consumables as customers will know where to go to stock up on potions and food before hitting an instance.
Track Price History
Since your trade character is constantly near a trade broker, you have a great opportunity to monitor the price of items. At the very least you should note down the lowest price of an item, and what day it was at that price. This way, you will know when a bargain becomes available, so that you can sell at a higher price to make a quick profit.
Although these tips may take time to implement, the benefits cannot be ignored. Considering that it takes some time to level up to 50, spending a little of that time to ensure your account is set up well for Kinah production, will help you gain Aion wealth more quickly in the long run.
